Buying a Rukka jacket from Germany

There was a uk dealer offering it a couple of years ago when I bought mine, I contacted them and they refused to match eu price saying it was only against other uk prices though it did not state it on there ad. Within a week the price match promise was gone. I bought from bikerland and so far so good.

Well, I went ahead and ordered a jacket from Biker Land.
Maybe Moto Legends would have matched the price, (it's academic now of course) but I'd be very surprised they'd reduce the UK price by what amounts (with an additional discount of 10%) to £370.
It'd be worth someone else trying though?

If there is a problem later on I'll send it back, it wouldn't be the end of the world.
It's only a bike jacket after all.

You've done the right thing.:thumb It'll be fine.:beerjug:

The turning purple is nothing to do with Rukka it's a goretex problem, I have Rukka proshell pants turning purple, Held proshell jacket turning purple and a Mountain Hardware proshell walking jacket also turning purple. The only thing they have in common is they buy there material from goretex. It's a good job I like purple.

It's nothing to do with the Goretex, that is the waterproof membrane inside and NOT the outside material :P

I buy my Rukka from Germany because I go there a lot, any problems have been sorted .... so no problem :thumb

Well, the jacket arrived Wed without any issues.
I'd ordered it last Friday and it was delivered before 9.am.
Pretty efficient service I'd say.
