Buying one for my first bike, abit of help please? 650

As the title says i'm looking to buy a F650GS for my first bike and restrict it to 33BHP.

I've been looking on websites showing prices of them and seems like a few are going for around £1500 mark,

I'm looking for an older bike around 00, before or after to keep in my budget of around £1500(2000around the max), whats the likelyhood of me finding a bike for that sort of price? Or would I have to splash out abit more?

I have 2001 with 20,360 on it, with panniers and Bmw top, Alarm fitted in Yellow with the restrictor bracket fitted if req. New chain and sprocket fitted looking £2400 but may take less without panniers and top box.
