Got the 06:00 boat from Isle of Wight to mainland yesterday(10/05) to get the bike down to C.W in Dorchester, for service and mot.
Got there around 08:30, and the fella in workshops pointed out how worn my brake pads were,so got them to sort that aswell.
They gave us another bike to play with, and away we went.........in the rain to explore Devon.....well Weymouth anyways.
What a outstanding job they done. No more rattles(some fella thought he could fix that, but made it worse:augie )Bike runs SOOO much better, smoother. Basically a new bike
Chuffed to nuts, i,m like a dog with 2 dicks now.
So thanks to C.W and the team for sorting me out and i would recommend them to anyone.
Also, last week the wife picked up her new R6, in black and now with just under 100 miles on the clock, she want a 650gs.
This would be her 5th bike in 2 years:eek:

I'll second that, friendly atmosphere but a very professional outfit. As for your wife wanting a 650GS, my other half has had 2 and they were brilliant little bikes, although she might want to wait until the end of the year for the much rumoured F800GS to appear!!

Tell H she needs a shiny 650GS to go with the black R6. Then she will be able to save the Yamaha for sunny weather and use the BMW the other 360 days of the year.

singletrack

Well Moody, you had us in a spin!!!
Didn't have a clue how you knew her name (H), but then she spied "singletrack" at end of your post and the penny dropped.
Yep she was gutted when over C.W and has once again fallen in love with the 650gs. The R6 was her first choice when she started to ride, but got a hornet, then CBR, now the R6. Funny thing is, since she got it, it has not stopped raining so it does not go out.
But deep down she has yearned for the 650gs, and once we were inside C.W she wants one.
Bloody woman:blast

Gavin, why did you good lady change over from the GS!!
Was there a problem !!just dont want to commit and later find out it not good.

There was no problem, she just wanted to try 4 cylinders, as she's relatively new to biking, now she's tried it and will be going back to a single or a twin.
