Caberg helmets

I've got a tourmax. It's comfortable, removable peak, flip front and drop down sun visor so ticked all the boxes for me.
Niggles for me were the peak is a bit flimsy and the air flow was making it 'buzz'. I've put a taller screen on now so that's solved that one.
The fastener could do with being slightly longer. It fastens enough but only just.
Overall happy with it, especially with it being quite a cheap helmet. I'd buy another.

I've had three cabergs and really like them but this year they have changed the sizes so the xl is more like a large.

I'm on my 3rd Caberg and am now using a Tourmax, they take a while to break in so it will feel slightly uncomfortable at first, also an idea to get a snug fit as they tend to pack out a bit.
The visor leaked badly on mine and let water run down the inside, replacing the rain seal made no difference but I tightened up the visor retaining screws a little and problem solved :blast.

I always remove the peak when going on long trips as it can catch the wind a bit, looking over your shoulder at motorway speeds is hard work as the wind tries to push your head down thanks to the extra surface area supplied by the peak!

Overall, still a decent quality and good looking hat for the price.
I've just removed and washed the lining after a year and it fits like new again :thumb

Don't know the xtrace Keith but I've had a Tourmax for the past year and I've no issues with it. Yes, the peak might seem a bit flimsy but I don't worry about the polycarb shell at all. I'd buy another one though the xl is a little smaller than the usual xl. Come to think of it, the only that annoys me is the opaque nature of the pinlock insert - makes driving at nighttime in the rain an absolute pain in the arse. 90% of the time I drive with the drop down sun screen instead of closing the visor. Pop over at the weekend if you want a gawk at the Tourmax.

Have you removed the protective layer from the pin lock?
I only ask because guess who didn't

Wouldn't wear one if given the top of the range, had one, had accident chin bar broke luckily stopped moving before any real damage

I've got a Tourmax,size L which I may sell.

It's like new, only worn for a few trips.
