My visor is a bit too pale in strong or low sun conditions so I'm trying to add a darker strip along the top. I have tried cutting down the commonly available large visor coverings but the compound curves involved make this approach very difficult

Is anyone aware of a product that can be sprayed or painted onto visor material?

ps I have tried the strip that clips between the helmet and lining

Probably a ridiculous reply here but ,,,:bounce1 Can you not put a strip of electricians tape across the top.?:nenau Maybe even black gaffa tape.?Nah maybe not, Probably get residue off the tape sticking up inside helmet:eek:   :eek

I have always used a strip of sticky back (Blue Peter) plastic or gaffa tape on the outside of my visor [like wot you see on F1 pilot's helmets]. Works a treat for me.

Have you seen this? Just found them on ebay - and have bookmarked them "just in case"!

Usual disclaimer - I have nothing to do with them, and have not tried out the product - yet!

Eat less Carrots?

Or more practically, get some of that stick on tint film and stick a strip on the visor.
Don't have a problem with my Justisimmo though unless very low sun where a visor is really the only option.

Maybe simpler to wear a lightly tinted sunglasses .........:nenau

I have the bob heath gradual tint and, to be honest, it is not effective enough - i.e. the tinted buit is still too light.

I don't want to go the 'dark route' since I wear the Justissimo when I may be late back from work (inner visor down in the morning and if I get away in good time on an evening, inner visor up if I get caught out due to leaving work late).

I we run some tests with 'stick on' bits and, now I know where I want it to be placed, I'm going to mask up a clear visor and spray the top bit black.
