Cagiva Canyon 500cc UK Spare parts

A friend of mine has just passed his test and without warning just got a Cagiva Canyon 500 cc (not Gran Canyon).

He is currenntly having trouble sourcing an air filter and an oil filter for the bike. The main distributer is Three Cross Motorcycles in Dorset, but they charge 20.00 + VAT for air filters and again 20 + VAT for oil filters.

Does anyone know how he can source cheaper 'regular parts' or suggest any alternatives. One alternative being, is changing the air filter for a K & N unit.

However this does not get passed the oild filter problem.

Any suggestions welcome....

And no, he cannot get a GS just yet

He has a Canyon 500cc is stock so should have the filters etc

I have always found him pretty good on price
