I particularly liked the new rubber "gasket" which helps isolate the pannier from vibrations, but also acts as a great "nylock" device on the retaining bolts.

Reverse Irreverence

Hi Luke
The fence between us needs a little mending - whatever about the creosote.
I had picked up on the pisstaking vibe and in an effort at reverse irony decided to turn the tables. My ability to convey the mischief in my motive let me down.
Nothing personal taken or intended. My now adult kids used to tell me to "get a life" and the phrase is a bit of a catch phrase in the household. It was not intended to somehow infer your life - or that of the other 3 guys - was worth less than mine (or anybody else's).
I look forward to meeting you some day - would a pint be out of the question. As to the book; I'm was lookiung for "how to make friends with affluent people". Guess I had the wrong title.
Are you affluent? If no I'll buy the first pint.
