I'm going to get rid of the ugly jubilee clips on my fuel lines and the oil return pipes that come from the frame to the rocker covers.
I've ordered the clips, tonight I decided I could start moving things along by undoing the jubilee clips on the oil return pipes on the rocker covers. The clips had been tightened so much that the rubber pipe's diameter had been reduced to almost nothing around the spigot from the rocker cover
The what was once rubber pipes seem to have age hardened and almost feel like plastic. Accessing the pipes tonight is OK, but I'm not taking the tank off on the drive in the dark and cold.
So the question is this:
What diameter fuel pipe do I need to replace these knackered ones? Is there any requirement for it to be heatproof? Doubt it, but, as the current one seems to be baked hard? Probably just an age related problem.
