Going too look at a Cali EV for sale alwats fancied a big Guzzi anything I should be looking out for?

The chrome wheels are often neglected but it shows. Also, some have hydraulic valves. There are mixed views on this. If well maintained and the 'right oil' is used then all good. I went for 'manual / normal' valves on a Special. It sounds awesome. Great bikes! Good luck.

Hydraulic valves covered '03 - '05 bikes. There was a factory recall for all bikes in these years. For peace of mind provide the VIN to a workshop/dealer and they'll run the check to see if the recall was carried out.

hydro cali recall

i currently have a customer , arguing with Piaggio about his cali hydro , cos the final recall was not carried out ( 9 owners in 8 yrs ) Piaggio have a liability for 6 years , after that tough shit !

cost of kit £1159 ! plus 8hrs to do it .

the sign it has been done is , remove rocker covers and check the collet holder is made of ali .

all wheels ALL get pitted , unless the bike NEVER gets used outside

Well I went, I saw, I walked away !
Bike looks like its been run through a few winters with little or no cleaning, chrome was peeling off the wheels, bike had been dropped on is side so crash bars had a large ding and scrape.
That was all I could see as the seller insisted he could only show me the bike late in the evening, when it was dark !
