Bikes in the Dealers. Needs 2 new calipers apparently at a cost of E700:eek:

It's a '03 ABS SERVO Model and I don't know off hand if they are Tohiko or Brembo brakes. Their triggering an abs bleed fault.

Is it true you can't get replacement seals/pistons for them? I'm being told the particular ones I've got (due to the abs part of it) don't have a service kit available? But when I ring Motorworks, they seem to be able to supply them? I'll be asking these questions later this afternoon when I go to talk to the dealers later...

Any advice welcome.

i think your being told porky's mate ,as far as im aware the abs bits are the electronics gubbins and have fec all to do with the calipers

:eek

I'll go up and ask the questions again later.

Just dosn't seem right:(

I got a pair secondhand from Motorworks £154.00 the lot inc P&P Came with a warranty as well.

Mines a '53 11150GS with Servo ABS. I think it will be the same calipers as yours, printed BMW on the outboard side and Brembo on the inboard side.

Road salt knackers them:(

Turns out BMW don't make repair kits for that partcular caliper. Anyway, it was exlained to me and trust them. Service advisor is one of own, member here etc

we reached a nice price and providing everything works out, it'll be worth it. Was thinking about second hand ones but they could be iffy and with herself on the back, I don't want to take any chances.
