Hello all.

I have had the aforementioned tyres on my bike for approximately 500 miles and I have notices some worrying wear along the edge of the tread on the rear. My riding style is....... eeerm, enthusiastic

Has anybody else experienced anything similar?

My Road 2s cope well with 150bhp so I doubt a GS will trouble them except on a track.

I know what you are saying but until recently changed to the RP3’s. I have not noticed this level of wear on previous makes of tyres after such little use.

I had PR3s on my Tiger 1050 and they were brilliant.
Maybe you're riding harder because they inspire more confidence ??????

You cannot have everything from a tyre something somewhere has to give at one point or another.
I noticed these are twin compound, could it be the tread is pealing from the carcus??
Might be worth getting them checked out if it does not look like normal wear.

Got PR3's on my Fazer 1000 - very goodtyres, & no wear problems to date, but it is early days yet - only 1500 miles on 'em .

Circa 6k on my Road 2 and wearing extremely well even though most of that is dual carriageway / motorway work.

I had RP3's on my 1250 Bandit. Best tyres I ever used in 30 years of riding.
They had 6k of brisk riding on them when I sold the bike, I reckon I could get 8k from a set. This is from a heavy, torque laden bike that I used the performance it had.

It is not inconceivable you have a dodgy tyre. Take it back and ask the question.
