proff ,you put a link on here ,some time again,about a question,iasked regarding some round tank badges with the motosport colours, i know they came from america ,but cant find the link ,or in the search button .
if poss ,could you put the link up again ......cheers dave

I'm sure I'll get slated for asking and called a perishing stalker but hey who cares ...

Why wouldn't they be for sale, why would someone want 3 sets of badges that they will never use, what is the point of just hoarding stuff?

The trouble with that suggestion is when people stop writing crap and posting rubbish you won't have much of a site left. You could always join the one or two that think Paul will close my account if they could just raise £20 from like minded and short sighted others. Luckily for me I think he has a slightly better business brain than them :thumb


Any way it was a serious question, why does someone want 3 sets of something they wont use?

Your right its got nothing to do with me at all, and as for baiting him he well can't see my posts.
It was just an observation and me thinking aloud. If I had 3 pairs of identical training shoes but never went running I'd be tempted to sell a couple.

Well the obvious answer is he knows they are hard to get - or expensive to freight over from the States.
Has some old air heads sitting in the garage awaiting them.

Bought them to hoard, just to piss off folks who potentially need them more.



My money is the first sentence.

Why Trippy gets these responses to a simple Q (especially from mods) is a mystery.......but entertaining:D

I have 2 x R90s's plus a R100cs and I'm also after a MKM 1000cc....on any of those bikes the Roudels will look the biz...
I don't "do" stuff for money, Trippy of all folk knows that ...
I did buy 12 sets around 6 years ago from San Jose, intending to let mates have them at cost..
the other 9 sets went in 3 days !!!! didn't make a profit, just wish I could get more..
Maybe 2 wheel humvee could make some replicas??straight replacement for the stick on ones, on tank and tailpiece... I'd buy 'em :thumb2:thumb2:thumb2


I have loads of hard to find bits, including Brand new OE, sealed in cellophane BLUE 80g/s front mudguard.
only available in primer after 1985... It owes me about £70, less than it would cost to get a second hand one and have it repainted..
As soon as someone needs one I'll offer it.....
Otherwise, it stays where it is..
Packer had an old rack, Benjamin had hard to find [slightly damaged] rear rack off of me recently, no ones complained I've ripped them off..... I even passed on a ST tank to Rob for his special...
 
your right ,id rather stuff went to someone who really wants /uses it.
i understand proffs thinking .
i didnt think he would sell any way ,he doesnt know me ,,i thought id ask ,as i want to do a gs in moptorsport colours.
ill try the link or maybe get some made up in vinyl.
