Cam-corder editing suite - HELP...!!!

Could anyone recommend me an "easy to use" cam-corder editing software for the PC.
Just got back off holiday, loads of cam-corder footage but about 75% is rubbish so need to edit out from the good bits and then put onto a DVD.

MSN movie maker it's free and simple enough.

I would grade the stuff and only capture what you need rather than capturing the lot and trying to move massive files around.

I would also set limits say you want a 5 minute long edit. find the end point then the start point and then fill it with interesting stuff.

I found Premier Elements 3 to be very good and quite easy to use. Got some good results

Having said that... I've moved over to an iMac now
