This Cambodia trip ...
Could you possibly add a little more detail to the thread please ?
Things like accommodation details - do we live in the bush or hotels or whatever ?
Are meals provided ?
What are the temperatures ?
Trail conditions - mud, gravel, easy, hard ?
Do we take our own bike gear with us ?
Where do we ride - Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is only 314 km so there must be a bit more to it than that.
Days off / visits to places ?
That sort of thing if you could please.
Thank you kindly.

This dirt bike tour will take you to see the temples that even Lara Croft couldn't reach (and even a couple that she did). The most comprehensive tour of the most inaccessible of the Angkorian Temples offered by any tour company in Cambodia. A must for the experienced dirt biker and adventurer, some of the most outstanding riding to be had anywhere in the world
Highlights
Preah Khan Temple
This temple is thought to be the largest temple enclosure constructed during the Angkorian period. Due its remote location, with no major roads leading to it, it is also one of the most seldom visited. But this is soon to change as progress is being made to reconstruct Route 66, the ancient Angkorian highway that used to link the temple to Angkor Wat to the northwest and the temple of Sambor Pre Kup to the southeast. Once this highway is finished, due in late 2006, tourists from Siem Reap will have easy access to the area.
The temple has a long history, thought to date back to the 9th century, then enjoying a resurgence in use in the 12th and 13th centuries through the patronage of one of the most influential of the Angkorian God-Kings, Jayavarman VII. This has left the area around the temple a treasure trove of ancient monuments both large and small, including a temple outside of the main temple walls that bears a striking resemblance to the Bayon temple in Siem Reap. With its towers carved of multiple faces it is thought to be the legacy of Jayavarman VII. One of the other many architectural highlights of this magnificent temple is one of the best-preserved 'Garuda Bridges' of the entire Angkorian group.
Koh Ker Temple
Deviates from the classic design of the Angkorian temples by virtue of being a pyramid, affording magnificent views of the surrounding countryside as far as Siem Reap.
Preah Vihear Temple
The most complete of the three and sits atop of an 800-metre plateau on the northern Thai border.
Camping in an Angkorian Temple
An opportunity not to be missed while it is still available. Preah Vihear and Koh Ker have both had new roads built to them, which have yet to effect the number of people visiting them, but time waits for no man and one day this area will be almost as busy as the temples of Siem Reap and camping in them will be out of the question. The road to Preah Khan is still under construction and will be finished in late 2006.
Warning: These temples are being put on the tourist map, they will remain deserted for only a limited period. Catch it while you can.
The Cambodian Rural Experience
Camp in a small Cambodian village and look through a small window into the country's rural traditions. See a way of life that has changed little since the Bronze Age. And enjoy spending time in the company of ordinary Khmer people, whose warmth and humour are legendary.
