We'll be having a Cambridgeshire BikeSafe Evening on Wednesday 16th February at our showroom in Hampton, Peterborough.

Bikesafe is a police led, motorcycle road safety initiative which focuses on practical advice on how to avoid the 4 main areas of collision causation; Attitude to Risk, Cornering, Overtaking/Filtering and group riding.
Through classroom based workshops, advanced police motorcyclists take you on a journey based on their own knowledge, skills and experiences of being a motorcyclist.

PC Peter Bimson & Pc Simon Burgin are Forensic Collision Investigator's with Cambridgeshire Police. Both are experienced Advanced Police motorcyclists in addition to leisure riding.

Peter will provide an insight into Police Collision investigation, looking at some of the forensic methods of investigation, the commonest causes of collisions and show some of the latest equipment used in gathering evidence such as laser scanning of collision scenes.

In addition to his role as a Collision Investigator, Simon Burgin is also the RoSPA and IAM examiner for the Cambridgeshire area, and the Eastern Region Bikesafe Co-Ordinator.
Simon will provide an insight into the Bikesafe Syllabus and invite you to question and challenge your own riding standards.

Both Peter & Simon will be at Balderston Motorcycles Hampton showroom from 6:30pm on Wednesday 16th February to give an introductory talk into how BikeSafe can help you get more out of your riding. Whether you're looking at getting a bike licence or have been riding for years, this evening will give you an entertaining insight on how to get more from your motorcycling.

If you're interested in attending, give me (TJ) a call on 01733-565470 to book your place - spaces are limited.

There's no charge for the event, so why not go along & get ready for the riding season?

Hi

I did a bikesafe course with PC Simon last year, really enjoyed it and strongly recommend it, I'm suprised that it hasn't been culled in all these public service cut backs, so make the most of it while it lasts.

It has to be the best £35 or so i've ever spent on biking. You can't get any decent training for that sort of price.

Cheerio
