Cambridgeshire - part needed

This is a long shot, but, does anybody in Cambridgeshire have a link bar (for joining gear change lever to the lever on the gear box) I could come and buy today? Mine has disappeared after I swapped the casing on my gearbox and i need the bike for tomorrow

I cant help with the part, but when I,ve lost a bit it usually shows up with a determined search, Have you checked the old box for instance, it could still be on the lever? work on the theory it was there before so unless it can fly it must be there, somewhere, now

not quite that easy, I swapped the case at the salvage place I bought the gearbox from so it's probably there (Luton and closed Sun)

Is it just the centre link your after as in pic (From ebay advert but its up north)
If you really need the bike tomorrow it may be possible to bodge a link as a temporary fix, a steel or alloy plate about the same length as the link, with a hole at either end just bigger then the ball joints on the levers, hold the plate on with small jubilee clips tightened hard on to ball joints but leaving a bit of gap for the plate to move, might get you mobile till you can get the part?
