A new Aerostich catalogue arrived today and while leafing idly through it I came across this:

Looks like a realistic alternative to a mat.

looks like an upgrade of the medical hammock we use to have in the office.

40x.25g= 10 kg bit heavy and £100+ is bit too rich for me

looks nice enough will have to pack it in the support vehicle along with bar, jaccuzzi, personal trainer with Gym and Chef

Mats are best

these allow air to flow under your body and will chill you in the early hours,
the best option i have come across is the Alpkit self inflating mats about £35 and no aches in the morning and good insulation. The camping beds are cold for me.

Actually I would use one of these in conjunction with my Exped DLX9 but not inflate it as much as normal.

The attraction for me is the ability to sleep on my side. I can do that on my Exped but I tend to slide off it at some stage in the night.
