Looking for a frame style camping bed or advice on a good one to buy, my mate has convinced me to go camping (mountain biking) for the first time in around 40 years ….. probably be the last time as well 😂 may be able to collect depending on where you are as I travel around a bit with work.
 
Those frame type beds don’t pack down very small and they ain’t the lightest either.
These are about the lightest but the Max one is nearly 3kgs!

37" across, damhik ;)

Fully extended panniers on a GS are 37" as are the handle bars

So you either run fully extended, or go for an overhang

It’s for a mountain bike trip not motorbike!
 
Sorry …. Driving to camp site with bikes and tent etc, size weight not a problem 😊

Aah, fairy nuff. I thought from what you wrote you were going on a mountain bike. :thumb2

Have you considered a decent sleeping pad/mat. I find them more comfortable and convenient than a camp bed.
