Camper van insurance and trackers

Thanks, so far we have got one of those yellow, cover all the steering wheel Disc-locks, the van has the factory alarm and immobiliser and I am planning to get a pedal lock when I can decide which

LV didn't ask for a tracker

Looks like you are all set to go (y)

There’s no harm of course in secreting an AirTag somewhere inside the vehicle.

I definitely want a decent tracker and I do like the idea of a foolproof immobiliser - hopefully a system which doesn’t require too many brain cells so that me and the wife don’t get overwhelmed with technology. I’m in a Wapping’s camp in that regard - if it prevents the van from being driven away with a cloned key or other electronic devices then I’ll be happy.

Thanks, much appreciated

AirTag - I think my daughter has done that, but my son said anyone with an Apple Phone can tell if there is an Airtag near by, which was news to me

But I still think a tracker would be good, but we shall see, as they have to pay all the running costs!!

I’ve discovered these trackers in my recent search.
I have no idea how good they are though I’ve yet to try them. Unless it’s hidden in the small print somewhere I can’t find any subscription. It does say on the front page no subscription though. :nenau

Thanks, I saw these when I was looking and therefore asked Google

"Consumer reviews for Marcherelle trackers are overwhelmingly negative. Users report that the devices are basic Bluetooth tags rather than the advertised real-time GPS trackers. Customers frequently complain about poor battery life, unreliable apps, lack of movement alerts, and extremely slow or non-existent customer service"

My son think that I am being paranoid
