Well, my very old and trusty Petzel Zoom head lamp died..
Was my mainstay camping light/illumination unit (torch  ) for many a year.

Now with bike trips being planned for this summer, I have been glancing around the various options and wondered.. if anyone had any experience of the pricey TT options, or any other LED style lighting unit for camping, or do most stick with the old head and handheld torches?

Cheers

John..

Rocks.

personally I'd stay with a headtorch.... so easy to use. The new ones come with led's .... so replace like for like (only the new led ones weight less and the batteries last longer)

I bought a tiny led head torch from Blacks (or maybe it was Cotswold)...£10, light, tiny, takes watch type batteries.... perfect to keep under seat on the bike.

go for one of these
