Camping, what do we need?

I can give you a couple of free camping chairs, if you make your way to London NW (bottom’ish of the A1). They fell out the back of a container, officer…..

If you want to borrow a tent to see if the missus likes it or not I have a couple. Too heavy to post though which may put the dampners on it? :nenau
I’m in Far Forest so not very close to Lincoln. :D

Thank you for the offer, very kind of you. I'm not keen on borrowing stuff but I am grateful. Thanks again. (y)

Ha! I decided to put the Moto Tent up to see if we can get my 2 current single camping beds in as Sarah's determined I'm not to spend any money until we've tried this first.
I know it won't work but sometimes you have to do as they suggest just to prove your point.
I'd just pushed the 3 sets of poles in and was standing the tent up when 'Snap' and 1 of the poles is beggared. :blast

Lone Rider have just told me they no longer make the poles for my tent which I think is a 1st generation.

Looks like a new tent may be in order after all.:hogroast

Neither of them are being used and never will be again. Not by me anyway now I have a set of Hillebergs. :D
It’s these two…..

Thank you, they're 2 great looking tents.
I've bodged the pole on the Moto Tent and it's up now.
In the short term she's letting me buy a camp bed similar to the Andes in the photo above (£40 from B&Q) and we're going to try camping in the garden first.
Talk about baby steps.....

Tent that is at least one person more than is camping.

Jetboil and sea to summit v60 coffee

Buy cheap, buy twice is a fact. Better to buy good quality used gear instead of Lidl.

You can fix that; i've done it a few time's ;; just unscrew the end of the pole and undo the elastic; the cracked end can be sawn off; then the sharp edges smoothed; feed the elastic back through the pole; then attach the elastic and screw it back into the pole; job's a good un;; a leatherman sorts mine out; the pole may be a bit shorter but will still work . :beerjug: who's going to be climbing over who for a piss in the night;:D
