Campsite/Hotel?

I am heading down to northern Spain through France.
I get into Boulogne on the morning of the 22nd July.
Just wondered if anyone knows of a campsite or hotel they would recommend within easy days ride from the docks?
Is anyone else planning to be on the 10.45 hrs Dover-Boulogne ferry that day?

Head south, get off the main drag at about 5 pm and just find one, there's millions no worries.

I know there are lots to choose from but I seem to have a propensity find the poor and pricey ones with staff who hate the English.
What I am looking for is personal recommendations of places which are good value both in the wallet and fun department.

We are not running any sort of business, but are willing to help out if required, if we are not away on the bikes or out flying I don't see any problems and we are a days ride from the ferry ports.

Just re read your post and we will be away on the night of the 22nd. We will be staying in the hotel in Ax-les-Thermes, on our way down to Alicante! Might see you on the road.
