Folks,

Need a bit of advice here.

This weekend myself and a pal with our good ladys are heading up to Glen Brittle on Skye for a spot of camping, there away riday to stay at Fort bill somewhere, then we're following on Saturday, meeting up in Fort bill, then onwards to Skye.

Now having a look at the weather it's looking a bit rubbish for the West coast in general so as an option we may head across land at Fort bill and head for a site towards the East, though this will be decided on the day

Does anybody have any recommendations for campsites around the East Coast ?

Cheers for any help

There's a crackin' site between Glamis and Kirriemuir (cannae mind the name now) but it's around 3 miles south of Kirrie on the Glamis road.

Edit: I mind now...Here

Ballater has a good one, nice quite on the coast but usually warm and dry when the coast is muggy. Also Glen Esk is worth a look too.

Moray?

Might want to try Morayshire if decent weather is what you want?

Silver Sands in Lossie is mainly residential caravans and possibly a bit busy / noisy during the season but might be quieter now.
