any info from anyone on small campsites local ish to chester (20/30miles) that you may of used and can recomend.Need to take nephews camping .In a drunken moment I said "you buy the tent Ill take them" guess, what the sister in law bought the tent!

Church Farm, [Organic farm] Just up road from me between Heswall and West Kirby, 100m from beach on banks of river Dee, 200m from pub, I stayed there a while back on same type of crack. if of interest i will call in and ask for you if needed.
Cracking walk up beach and out to Hilbre island.

Louise had lunch at this place today and she was very complimentary about it saying that it would be a great place to camp and she doesnt like camping so read into that what you will

She did say that there was only one tent there, seems a bit more popular with caravanners. She also said that the log cabins in the woods seem really cool so that might be fun with the lads instead of a tent ?
