Can’t turn off seasonal closures in my XT2

MRA does the same. The Tread app for getting the route onto the Zumo XT 2 seems to be the culprit (y)
Ah, soz. Never used Tread, or an XT2 or MRA come to that :D
As I know nothing, can you export the route (gpx1.1) to your phone or PC and then send it to the XT2 over wifi?

The Tread app ( which is the only way that I now calculate routes ), initially does the correct route calculation , then corrects itself with road closure calculations . The XT2 will do the same .
There’s no way that I know of stopping this .
It’s not a problem , just be patient and all of those passes will be open soon , in June .
After all , it’s not as if you can ride them anyway , yet.
Not a problem here.
Basecamp is still useable for anyone that’s able for research purposes , but , I wouldn’t rely on its waypoint accuracies , because it uses different maps, so guess will cause trouble , hence not supported.

You can with the Zumo XT and the Drive app. With the XT 2 you must use the Tread app.

I use a Mac and Commander One to see what is on the Zumo XT 2 and it's SD card - the only way as the Mac itself doesn't recognise Android files.

I can load gpx directly to the SD card but was looking for a way without activating the Explore Library. via the Tread app.

I've just loaded two only gpx files - one from the UK and the other across France and into the Netherlands - synchronises every minute when connected to the Explore Library. :yikes

I wouldn't mind this so much but it sometimes adds two together !!!!

Well this (for the moment) is my cure for the XT2 Explore/Tread route disruption when I'm away from my computer on a trip; and want to have a route from MRA.

No activation of Explore in Tread which prevents route being passed to my XT2 using my iPhone; as XT and Drive does.

Use the MRA app on the iPhone to create, download and copy to the XT2 SD card.

£5.09 on Amazon (y)
