Can a RAM mount be made secure?

I'm looking at the Migsel RAM mount to mount a BMW Nav IV with a Touratech locking mount.

But if I use a double socket arm, it's not secure as the tealeaf can just undo the arm and walk off with the whole mount with GPS inside

Is there a way of securely attaching the TT mount to the 1" ball on the Migsel mount?

Replace the hand screw with a spacer/sleeve, bolt and locknut.

The Zumo kit I bought from Touratech had a bolt instead of the quick adjust knob to deter thieves.........!

Thats exactly what I did with mine and just remove the GPS itself when necessary.
