Hi everyone
newbie here well to the site anyway, had my GSA for about a year now and love it after years of riding tiny sports bikes and all that goes with there crampedness it was a welcome comfort to chuck my leg over the gs and the only people that i seem to find that dont love them are those that have never ridden one!!
Any way one of the ressons (althou not the only) im here is to see if anyone can help me out!
I was driving in london the other morning on the way to work (and yes i do use the gsa for work sometimes) and i guy on a gsa rode pass me and on the underneith of his bmw side pannier he had additional aluminium box that seemed to be bolted on the bottom which seem to add to his storage space, or hold a large water- fuel tank?
Does anyone know or have seen anything like this on the market and where i could get to have a look at one!
I would have asked the rider but he was riding in the oppersite direction
CAN ANYONE HELP?
CHEERS

Welcome to the site :thumb

I had a set of Touratech panniers a while ago that had been 'extended' at the bottom and top with what I can only describe as stainless trays. The bottom and lid was cut out and the trays dropped into the hole... they were then sealed using sealant and pop riveted .

Bit over the top for my needs so I removed them and returned the panniers to their original size

PS Moved this from the 'go on you know you want one' into here- someone will be along to remove the other thread in here shortly :rob

I've seen Tool Tubes under the panniers before..
I wonder if it was SANI's bike?? has he had the whole fecking Touratwat catalogue on his !!!

I have seen them on a couple of trips, guys have them as reserve fuel or water, with the weight been lower down it seems to work for them.
It slides out like a tray,if you look in the motorcylce adventure book you will see them in their with explanations.
