A green wire under the tank on the l/h side as you sit on it. Becomes 12v live when the ignition is on. Can anyone identify it please and is it suitable to use as the main power (NOT the load power) for an AutoSwitch?
Thanks 👍

Update: it looks like it comes out of the loom going to the alternator

Probably the wire to the American market only charcoal canister....the Euro bikes still came with the loom fitted but without the canister.

If it's not being used and it is switched live, then yes, use it :)

I don't know what the wire is, but it isn't the charcoal canister solenoid control, which has two wires and a plug that looks identical to an injector connector.

It may be a wire that someone added previously.

Is the blue bit an inline fuse?, either way if its consistent 12v by ignition than you should be ok to use as switched trigger

No, it's just a label or tag of some sort that you can slide out. I've used it as the supply and it works ok in the garage so just have to prove it out on the road :thumb2
