Can bus connector.. ??

i know its been asked a zillion times
but can I plug into the wrong one
at mo my Tom Tom rider is plugged into the spare plug just below headlamp cluster tied below the oil cooler....
its the one with the blank stop end.....

My Sat Nav powers up on key ignition but doesn't seem to power down on key off ??
settings are correct on Nav to sleep when no power...

So is there a delay when ignition is off

Bike is a 09 SE.....

when I remove plug sat goes into sleep straight away.... ?

It can take a minute or two before it shuts down, have some patience man.��

I've all the time in the world "Oor Wullie" but it varies ive noticed since posting..... a few mins and more or less it doesn't seem to have a set time delay....

but looks like its all fine now thx
