There`s too many fookers here asking about stuff that can answered by picking up a fecking manual and reading the bastard thing.

FWIW, I'm not with Tarka on many, if not most of his rants about the tech incompetence of many new bike owners (I'm in that group) but there has to be a limit somewhere......
Asking what oil to put in your bloody bike, when it's not only been covered several hundred times on the same forum that you're asking the question on, as well as in the owner's handbook and the back label of any can of oil on the shelf (if it shows a bike on the front...how's that for a clue??) is just lazy and TBH, deserves the answers it gets.
I might be old, but I'm still a sarky 18stone cheeky bastid, MY hands up as well

Its the same on every forum...same repeated questions and the same response as you have here! Some of the other forums simply put a sticky or two at the top of the various sections with the answers to most popular questions...like recommended oils/grades, brake pads, panniers etc. Its not rocket science either.

I agree. However some people on here just can't help themselves I'm afraid.
It's a shame as it spoils what is otherwise a pretty decent site.
i suppose that's true and maybe more of us should do that.... sometimes
