Using an iPad, can I import that route into mra ?

Yes, I pretty much only use my iPad to create, import &/or edit routes.

Click on Yarkto’s gpx file and save to iPad downloads

Open MRA APP and go to Routelab ( or open MRA in Safari and go to Routelab that way)

Click on ‘Upload’(3rd button from the left at the top)

Click on ‘+Choose files’ and select the gpx file you saved. Then click ‘Import’

In this list of ‘Routes’ click on the route you have just imported. This will open the route and you can edit as normal

If it is one of Wapping’s routes you click on his MRA route icon in UKGSER. This will open the route in MRA.

To use/save the route: the top right hand corner, click on ‘Page menu’ and select ‘+ use route’. This will save the route into your list of route in MRA and allow you to edit it etc

ive had a go but I think it’s showing seasonal closures. Not having a lot of luck with MRA To be honest.

:augie just sayin'
It works and can do more than probably most people use it for.
Most of all, it's free
What's not to like?

I give up.
:surrender
No need to surrender. I’m not really interested in all these computer bollocks. I find bc too complicated so I paid for MRA which is slow, won’t do long routes and overall a bit clunky.
I’m thinking of going back to Kurviger.

I understand.
One does have to invest time and be interested in the subject to achieve results. The same applies to any skill. Good luck

Which makes me question why I bothered to answer your question. Why ask if you just cannot be bothered anyway?

No. It’s not that I’m not bothered , I just don’t have much success with these things.
Foreinstance, I looked at the help files on the MRA app to find out how to turn off seasonal closures. It told me how, but it doesn’t look anything like my computer

From my iPhone on a bus. It might look a bit different on your home computer, but the same bits will still be there.

Aah, I’ve just opened it in a different map and now have optimisation, but nothing about seasonal closures.

You get different options available in ‘Toolkit’ depending on what map set you have selected. I believe you only get the Seasonal Closures and Avoid Environmental Zones with Here maps. And you only get Here maps with a paid subscription. The default maps if using the free version of MRA is Open Street Maps

I’m already a gold subscriber. I’ll try that though.

That’s it, now got seasonal closures. Thank you 👍

I sat in on an MRA training tutorial on Zoom last night. Very helpful. There’s another one next week
