Can Irish Grid coordinates be searched for on a Quest

Quick question, I've done a few searches but didn't find an answer,
if someone gave me Irish Grid coordinates ie: IW 68734 78453
on a nav-rally can they be searched for on a Quest without having
to use a PC and Mapsource. Can they be typed into the Quest ?
I always asumed this could be done but never tried it, I always used
Mapsource to do it.

Yes...I've just done it and if it worked, that location is about 4 miles north of Cork.
(I'm on CN6 so I don't have any Irish map detail, 'cos I can fit all of the UK, the route down through Spain, all of the Moroc Topo map on plus the UK speed camera overlay....if I upgrade to better Irish mapping, I can't get that all on)

You have to go to settings, unit setup, then change 'location format' to 'Irish Grid' then enter the coordinates in the normal crap way (take the cursor off where you are, save it, edit the numbers to what you want then route to it)

To enter a location using grid ref's press and hold OK while looking at the map page.

Press save.

Now use up and left to highlight the Location field, then press OK again and you'll be able to edit the grid ref to whatever you want.
