I have a leather tan coloured cushion that has Black permanent marker pen lines scribbled on it.

how easy will they be to remove - if at all:blast

with sand paper

I did read some place if you use a dry wipe marker it can remove the permanantent, permatantentna, permentantn.

the other one....

What we do at work when some plonker uses a permanent marker on a dry wipe board is to rub the area with a non permanent marker and that always removes it.

Alternativerly you can try dabbing Meths on it but suggest a test area first

drop of petrol but the cure could be worse than the disease proceed with caution

drop of petrol ...
and light a match. All marks gone - no cushion, sofa or house depending on where you do it , but definitely no marks :P

Else, try the dry wipe pen approach, although at work we do find that it does still leave a shadow.

Have you tried asking a specialist cleaner? Not your High Street Sketchy type place, but try looking on yell.com for a local specialist company under "dry Cleaners" that you can take the cushion to for advice.

have a look in the bettaware catalouge:thumb2

or non-acetone nail polish remover but try on a area you cant see first

or colour it all in black;)

I used to have a leather jacket with about six coats of acrylic paint on it depicting various punk and psychobilly band logos dating right back to the late 70's. No point trying to remove it, just add another coat.

Who's coat is that jacket?

thanks for the tips guys

will have a go when I get home in a couple of days

Local ALDI usually have a "Stain Remover" sponge thingy type thing which might help. It looks like a sponge but isn't :pullface

I have seen it used for removing drawings in crayon from walls.
