1150 adv, on centre stand with front wheel off the ground.

Could you measure the distance between the top of the fork dust seal to the bottom of the top yolk.

Thank you :thumb2

What I was asking that for, was, I fitted a rockster telelever recently, and when the bike is on the centrestand, the wheels seemed a little higher off the ground than before.
I suspect the shock mounting is very slightly lower.

From the top of the dustseal on the forks to the bottom of the top yolk on my bike is 213mm. On Canucks, it is 228mm. 15mm difference. (yet to be confirmed)
Measured with bike on centrestand and front wheel in the air

If anybody was wanting to lower their adventure, an ordinary front 1150 shock and a rockster telelever might be a way to go.

Just thought I would let you know :thumb2

I can confirm that the difference between 213 and 228 is 15 :thumb

For anybody who is remotely interested. ( c'mon ...there are shortarses around who will appreciate this information )

Measurements have been did, and the bike is lower at the front by about 35mm in real money.
