Please can someone who doesn’t have ‘Gold’ membership of My`Route tell me:

A. I assume that can create routes but are simply limited in the choices of maps you can use. Yes or no?

B. You can store locations as ‘Favourites’ and summon them up. Yes or no?

C. You can export the route into:

1. A Garmin or TomTom GPS device

2. You can export it into the BMW app navigation thing

Yes or no?

D. Can you upload routes that have been shared on the forum into your MyRoute. For example, can you upload this route:

Yes or no.

Many thanks.

Richard

The comparison of subscriptions covers most questions, i think;

A. I assume that can create routes but are simply limited in the choices of maps you can use. Yes or no? - yes; restricted open street map only

B. You can store locations as ‘Favourites’ and summon them up. Yes or no? Yes

C. You can export the route into:

1. A Garmin or TomTom GPS device; Yes

2. You can export it into the BMW app navigation thing

Yes or no? : Unknown

D. Can you upload routes that have been shared on the forum into your MyRoute. For example, can you upload this route: Yes

Just as an add on. On Garmin devices you can use a GPX route created in MyRoute but it needs to be created with quite a few "waypoints" in MyRoute parlance or it may not go "exactly" were you want or had plannedto go :D
If you switch off route re-calculation in the satnav it'll not change it.

Richard,
From memory, when I had a freebie account before going full out Gold member, I could only store a maximum of 25 routes, that was it, if memory serves me right.

Confirmed that Basic (Free) account only allow you to store 25 routes. For more comparison click here
