The left plastic BMW cylinder guard that was already damaged, pretty much bought it this evening.

Some stupid bint in her Mini (new shape of course) turned right into her drive as i was parallel with her bloody bonnet FFS, how effing blind do you need to be? :shoot:

The mighty GS bore it well enough, she must have stopped turning as i managed to keep it upright despite being nudged sideways, if she had kept going i'd have been down.

No apology just pulled into her drive, no witnesses (despite the long line of traffic) and in all honesty i was shocked and thankful i was still upright that i carried on the reamining few yards to the roundabout at the end of the road.

No other damage to the bike, so i'm just going to replace the plastic guard, and count myself lucky, and hope that she has a nasty scratch on her brand new Mini...that'll teach her.

:thumb to the GS and the plastic guards, it did its job

I'm sure that you can't remember where she lives can you?

I'm also sure that you're not the sort of chap who would go to your local branch of Wickes and buy three cans of expanding builders' foam. Neither would you place these in your freezer when you got home, because of course you didn't buy them in the first place.

Then, you wouldn't go back to where the silly bint lives, not clutching frozen cans of builders' foam which you didn't buy earlier, where you most definitely wouldn't smash the side window of the Mini which got broken in your car/bike interface earlier and you therefore wouldn't cut the tops of the three cans of frozen builders' foam which you don't have anyway, nor lob them through the broken window of the Mini, not making sure to place two in the front and one in the back.

Wouldn't you....?

Bad move...

Don't break the window.

Leave the young ladies car. Go to B & Wickes and get some foam sealer.

Insert expanding foam dispensing tube up car exhaust.

Press "Dispense" button.

When can goes dead, repeat.

Insert next tube.

Finish off with an old sock, rammed down with old broom handle.

Car will start tomorrow with no visible signs of tampering, unlike your GS. Will not run for long though....

Smile when you pay your bill for replacement parts when you think of:

New MINI exhaust.
New MINI catalytic converter
Late for work day (MINI driver)

etc etc.

In the words of the prophet, "DON'T GET MAD, GET EVEN."

P.S. I took the cover of one of my missus' bike this evening to go through normal maintenance ( I spend a while away from UK), and found out that the bike had been knocked over and the indicator lenses are Kaput, the rocker covers are split, the screen, is cracked etc etc) and I now realise that even though I have not touched the bike, some other cnut has, probably with his car...

I've now decided that the next thing is a CCTV security camera. I'll just wait and see. Then, when I get evidence, I need to decide whether to justify the military training I received way back when or hand the evidence over to Mr. Plod.

I seriously empathise with you. You're probably a decent chap.

Hope you get a result.

Cheers,

TOK
