Can you give me an idiot's guide to downloading this and burning on a disc?

Hi peeps,
I've been trying for ages to burn a disc for my car sat nav system.

Ive tried to follow the advice given, but I'm going round in circles, to web sites that dont work, and I've came to the conclusion .............I don't have a clue what I'm doing.
