Candle Power ratings?

I am thinking about getting lights for my 1200.

I can't seem to get any candle power ratings on any lights.

Is there a site that has them?

Whats the candle power of PIAA 510 compared to the 600 H.I.D. for example? I couldn't find anything on the PIAA site. All they had was the colour temperature of the lights.

Is the school of thought to get a fog and driving light combo?

The candela is the luminous intensity, in a given direction, of a source that emits monochromatic radiation of frequency 540 x 1012 hertz and that has a radiant intensity in that direction of 1/683 watt per steradian.

I am no Egghead, but there's a big difference 1012 and 10 to the 12th power.

But thats all off topic.

I am after candle power ratings for bike lights.

Never had much success with candles, they never stay lit for long no matter how many i have!!

Would there be a touratech gaurd which would help?

GS1200 lights should be rated in candle power anyway. Probably more figures after the decimal point than before. Has anyone out there got the Motobozzo foglights fitted? I'm trying to translate the German installation instructions on Babelfish & it keeps talking about "swineherd's cottage" for whatever a "Schweinenwerfergehause " is. Then again..............
