Only!

Only because we complained :rob(especially on this site):rob and voted with our feet, lets hope it is as good a deal as it sounds, and they have got their act together, we'll see, at least they're trying, might even pop in myself and see what sort of a welcome/reaction I get? :augie

Despite what a small minority may wish to believe, this offer is in no way connected with anything to do with the past - Cannons now look into the future, we do not dwell on the past! (Although we certainly aim to learn from it, and improve)

Others may find some inner peace by doing likewise.:)

Dusan, I am sorry that the only responses you are able to make are derogatory, but you would of course be welcome to the dealership at any time, and the only 'reaction' you would receive would be as each of our customers receive - a positive one - as I do not look upon this personally!
On the contrary, we are focussed on being professional, exceeding customer expectations, and continuing our improvements.

Our other recent Service Offer was very well received, so come on you lot, give Cannon's a try!!!

Best regards

Matthew Terry

I used Cannons a while ago while there was no dealer in Kent. I won't dwell on the service I got either!

Has the dealership changed hands now, Mike?

(EDIT: Braintree to my house - 92.7 miles!)

I'm booked in on Tuesday for service, Mathew is obviously trying hard, and has good positive outlook.

Dispite past misgivings, I am willing to give him and his team the benefit of the doubt.

Will report back with findings

Err thanks I think?

Mathew, in what way was my last post derogatory? I said I hoped the deal was as good as it sounds, and you seem to be making a real effort, did you read those comments as derogatory? I don't like to dwell on the past either, the future is more important, but all we have to gauge people by (and company's are run and staffed by people) what has happened in the past, I wish Cannon's all the best, I always got on with Bill and Ronnie in the past, not even going to go over what happened to me or older post's, if you read them they are factual, nuff said i think, maybe i should PM you and discuss? Dusan

Service completed all as per quoted, no issues, no problems.

Serviced whilst i waited as agreed, coffee available.

Thank you to Mathew, Chris and Pete, keep up the good work.

:clap

LET US BE DEROGATORY!!!

Went there for my last service.

Arrived at approximately 09:30 hours.

PAID for a courtesy bike.

EMPTY fuel tank, computer range showed 32 MILES!!!

Went for breakfast.

Got a call WAY after lunchtime regarding rear brake pads.

Picked it up 6 hours after dropping it off.

SIX HOURS!!!

Why would I even bother going back there???

I work hard, long hours, at least 7 night shifts every 4 weeks, forget the b*llshit about "Customer Service", it's all about grabbing our hard-earned cash.

Next time I'll go see one of those "I used to be a BMW mechanic and I've now set-up my own business"...

Let's give a little to small independent hard workers, they don't get a company car/bike and won't see a fat bonus next Christmas...

Dear London Mole,

The cost of a Courtesy Bike is necessary to cover the cost of both insurance and running costs. It is my understanding that this is common practice among both bike and car delaerships, save for a few exceptions.

It has never been common practice for us to supply fuel free of charge, (until the announcement of our recent offer).

We respectfully ask our customers to replace the fuel they use to ensure that the next customer using the courtesy bike is not left with 'fumes', alas, this is not always adhered to, which I suspect contributed to this situation.

I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with the Courtesy Bike Charge and amount of fuel in the bike.

If you PM me I will look into what the delay was in completing your bike.

Regards

Matthew
