Hi Has anyone had any dealings with Cannons BMW,what are they like?They have a rather nice Rallye i fancy,but its a bit far to just pop in to check it out.

I find them OK, but there again they are my nearest dealer, bought my first GS, then GSA plus had servicing for the last 4-5 years, there have been some disgruntled tossers posting but that was before I ever tried them. I'd always go back as never experienced any problems - why not give them a call!!
They're a full BMW Motorrad dealership, so any warranty will be valid in any BMW Motorrad dealer
Presumably you're not looking at riding back there for servicing etc if they're too far away, so even IF you read a few bad reports about them, does it matter?
The bike will be fine I'm sure.....after that, it's your local dealership that you'll be dealing with
I've never had a problem with Cannons either, and would buy a bike from them without hesitation if I was in that market.

They are by-and-large fine.
Yup, they have had the odd up and down, as is inevitable. They have also had the odd uppity customer too, that's for sure.
In that they are no different to any other large dealership, BMW or otherwise. I would buy a bike from them, quite happily.

No issues with them whatsoever (they are a couple of miles up the road from me).

Thanks guys for your tips and Matt for all your help.
Bought my first Beemer from them! They ticked all the boxes. I made loads of enquiries about the bike beforehand and they appreciated I was coming a long way to see/get it and were as helpful as they could be so I could be sure it wasnt going to be a wasted journey. I can't remember the names of the people I dealt with though. It's a good few years ago now but from memory I'd give them 8/10 for customer service.

Top blokes there always put themselves out for you! Me and a friend have bought two bikes there great to deal with.
