Just looking at sales figures for up to end July 03 for new bikes. It seems the figures speak for themselves. If you want a trial / enduro or adventure sport bike there is only one worth having. The only one that beats a new 'GS is a DT125 & that's for kids.

That's more 'GS's than both the Honda & Triumph together. Must be a good bike. It's not like there heavily discounted now, is it?
So to any of you not surewhich to buy, go get a test ride (BM of course)
To put these figures into perspective. The best seller (lots pre registered due to new emission laws) is the Fazer 600 (2235), second (again including sell off of old model) ZX6R (1845) and third (probably a truer figure of best selling) GSXR1000 (1758).
Loads of useless info, but I'm sure someone will be interested.
Finally Adventure sport (Honda & Triumph listed here) and Trial/Enduro (BMW listed, don't understand why) are 2 of only 4 sectors that are selling more than last year (+18%, +49% respectively). The others are Customs and Scooters. Is this the bike market slowing down, or just riders slowing down?
