Can't find an address in Mapsource but can on the Zumo

I got the Zumo 660 a couple of months ago and installed the latest mapsource and maps on my PC. I was trying to plan a route somewhere, i think it was Lind Motorrad in norwich, which is 120 Ber Street, but it could have been somewhere else. Anyway i had the street name, house number and city but not the postcode. I used the address search in Mapsource as you would to create a waypoint but it didn't return any matches. Putting the same details into the Zumo found the address no problem and yet they are using the same map data. In the end I had to save the address as a favourite on the Zumo and transfer it to the PC.

Mapsource seems to have trouble finding an address unless you give it a postcode. Am I doing something wrong? I am at work at the moment so I can't test it. Maybe someone else could search for 120 Ber Street and see if it works?

Found it in City Nav 2008. You are searching under England as a country rather than UK aren't you? I couldn't find it under UK but using England and ping! there it was

Hmmm... tried it again this morning and mapsource found the address in UK and in England (as you might expect). I'm sure I searched the same way as I did last time so either it was a different address i was having problems with (wish i could remember what it was!) or else something has been fixed in software or map update.


Or maybe I'm just losing my mind. On reflection, that seems the most likely option
