cant get the seat off!!!!!!!!

okay being really stupid. 1150 gs can unlock and remove the rear seat but dont know how to get front seat off. stupid i know but any help would be appreciated

Same as the back seat ! Use the key.

Try pulling it back and up while the back seat is removed? As Alan says, the key is needed I think from distant memory

Same way. Turn the key and then wobble the seat about while pulling up/back.

Swear at it... might not help but will make you feel better....for about 10 mins

... Bungy the seat to the garage roof
... Take the back wheel off
... Use a plasma cutter, or angle grinder and chop out the undertray
... Bolt cutters on the seat locking bar

... The bike will drop off the saddle from below

I seem to recall that you have to turn the key in opposite directions for the rear / front seats.

Also pushing down on the seat whilst you try to turn the key helps as it takes some tension off of the seat fixings.

yep same key and lock as releases the back seat also does the front


remember there are 3 height settings for the front seat when you put it back
