Park lane are off their nut. They basically offered me £8.5k LOL
Their offer was:
Give them my bike which cost about £16k with accessories 7 months ago
Then give them £5,300
Then pay £25 more a month finance, with a new 3 year agreement.
and........ they'll give me a 14 month old GSA, worth £13,450
I mean.... seriously??

Park Lane are probably the worst example for getting the best deal. Travel further afield, and you'll get a much better deal than the one they're offering.
That is shite, i got £8000 part exchange for my 13 plate Triumph Explorer in September with 14500 miles on the clock against a 2016 GSA TE

You've done it now though, as she probably puts her username into the search just to see who's talking about her/ him.
There is absolutely no logical reason to change from a GS to a GSA, the GS is an awesome bike, did a Spanish trip with a couple of fellas from site on a 2013 GS and it was absolutely faultless, was 1st big trip on bike and really got to know it as far as handling etc. is concerned
HOWEVER I picked up my brand new GSA 2 weeks ago, in the new matt red with lowered chassis and gear assist and bloody love it. The GS apart from fuel range will do everything the GSA does but the adventure looks the absolute bollox. One test ride was enough and I just had to have it, biggest difference for me is the lower chassis, given me much more confidence and taken a lot of the worry out of stopping in traffic and parking etc. even a slight camber on the road was a worry.
So if you're thinking about it then you're just not gonna be happy till you done it, the deal Park Lane were offering is a real piss take, my advice would be to get out of London and look at a new one, great deal on right now and the peace of mind with the warranty and breakdown cover etc.

OK folks. Spencer @ Vines came up with an awesome deal for my IDEAL GS. Its a brand spanking new 16MY Ocean Blue GS, but they are swapping the coloured panels for a brand new set of Olive Green ones they have. So i get a brand new bike with the cornering abs etc, in the colour i want
Finalising tomorrow, but fingers crossed his finance dept agree the trade in deal we did today......
