Can't see all new threads

So I log in and select "new posts since last visit" and I get, say 7 pages worth.

I get to page 3, select the next page and it tells me I can't. Can't remember what the exact message is, but basically I can't get past the page I'm on and have to resort to selecting "threads in the last day" to do so.

Am I doing anything wrong?

When you first log on you activate a 900 second (15 minute) cookie.

If it takes you more than 15 minutes to read the new posts the cookie will renew it's self and think that the last time you logged in was only 15 minutes ago... so there will be less than 3 pages of new posts.

Have I confused you even more now?

F**king users never read the bloody message, just get straight on to support then say something is wrong but I can't tell you what it is!

if it logs you out click on the next option last day, last 2 days etc had it happen to me a couple of times

Right click & open in new window anything you're interested in, read them once you've got to the end of the list. Just remember to hit refresh on anything you're going to reply to
