Can't see embedded videos

Help needed .... I used to be able to see any attached vids on this site, and elsewhere, but now for some reason I just see a small icon in the top corner and no vid

I've obviously changed a setting somewhere but don't know which one ...

Any help appreciated

Maybe they are blocked by your ISP or employer.

Sorry Greg I forgot to say it's a personal laptop and no I cannot see them on other sites .. I can see videos directly ok i.e. Youtube etc ....

I recently uninstalled some registry cleaner freeware and thought perhaps this removal had altered the machine settings somehow ?
