Can't switch user account?

Got Windows 7 and can switch user account from my wife's to mine, but not the other way around - on my account when I select switch user nothing happens.
The only way I can do it is to select switch user and then do ctrl alt delete and choose the option from there.
Can anyone help please?

Tryed it on mine ( Windows 7 Home Premium 64) and it works changing from Administator to Standard User and back. You could try setting up a new user account and see if it works on that and if it does there my be some corruption of your wifes user account
