Capuride 702 touchscreen issue

Been using this unit without problems for over a year. Today fired up bike and it normally jumps straight into CarPlay. Phone was showing as connected in iPhone settings.

Powered capuride off an on and it came on to CarPlay but screen isn’t responding to touch.

Tried a few times on and off but just the same, screen unresponsive to touch.

Any suggestions other than bin

Tried a factory reset, i can get to the screen and request it but the tick box remains greyed out and wont let me press the tick to peform the reset. Any ideas?

Hopefully you bought this from Carpuride and not Amazon, if so take some screen shots and email Carpuride customer services with a full explanation and see what happens, also the date you bought it, good luck

Yes I did, well the guys at capuride have said it’s a screen fault and are sending out a free screen for me to change. Great service as the unit is over a year old so very happy with how well they’ve gone about this. Very helpful..

New screen installed and it’s back up and running as it should. Great customer service from capuride couldn’t have been more helpful.

Likewise. My 702Pro kept powering of at random intervals.
Emailed them and asked if it was a known problem.
Couple of days and received a link to new ISPBOOT.BIN
Neither Firefox or Brave would download it (file not found) but TOR did.
Loaded up AOK.
Reloaded my boot screen and re-connected BT and wifi. Will see if its cured next time out.

I now have OTA updates available.
