Morning folks,

I hadn’t used the bike since last year, since then my iPhone 15 has probably had 100 updates you know west like.

Last year I always had the capuride 702 setup so that speech and instructions were handled directly between the shoei sena headset and iPhone.

If using Waze I would get instructions in my ear when I wanted them direct from phone to sena.

Now I’m not getting any instructions on Waze and every time I start bike, on iPhone it’s set to output to sena, however a few mins later this reverts to capuride. Pita as it’s a few secs later and if you forget to see very phone to sena you get Buggerall.

First world problems I know, but why do these bloody things change. All worked fine last time out.

Any suggestions on what to alter?

I’m wanting instructions from Waze or google maps in my ears.

I recall it didn’t like to be setup via capuride.

Thanks
Mark

Carpuride sent me this:
(1) Delete the Bluetooth and WiFi of Carpuride on the mobile phone, ignore the Carplay/Android Auto on the settings and then restart the phone
(2) The Carpuride device also deletes the Bluetooth and WiFi of the mobile phone, restore the factory settings, restart
(3) Turn off the mobile data of the phone, follow the steps in the manual to reconnect the device to the phone.
Steps for Carplay: Tap the I-play icon on Carpuride - Tap Settings on your phone to turn on WiFi and Bluetooth - Find Carpuride's Bluetooth name in your phone's Bluetooth settings and tap to connect - Tap Pair for Pairing Request - Allow contacts and favourites Sync - Connect to Carplay - Allow ‘Carpuride(xxxxx)’ to check for Carplay Apps
Steps for A-Auto: Click A-Auto icon on Carpuride machine - click Settings on mobile phone to turn on WiFi and Bluetooth - Click Pair new device in Bluetooth Settings on mobile phone - Find the Bluetooth name of Carpuride machine, Click to connect - Click Pair with Carpuride(xxxxx)
After completing the above steps, open the data of the phone.
Then return Carpuride to the main screen and click Audio output to select one of the connection modes.
The BT Trans mode is to connect the Bluetooth headset to the Carpuride device.
Another iplay/auto mode is to connect a Bluetooth headset to the phone.
It should be reminded that when using BT Trans mode, it is necessary to delete the Bluetooth headset's connection record on the mobile phone to prevent the Bluetooth headset from connecting to both the mobile phone and the Carpuride device at the same time, which will result in some of the functions not working properly. Similarly, when using iplay/auto mode, it is necessary to delete the Bluetooth headset's connection record on the Carpuride device.

If you email them and ask nicely, they will send you a link to download a video.
