I've been sitting on the fence all week as the weather got worse. Then yesterday came and I thought why not, Today.............???

But am still considering very strongly about turning up tomorrow, the rain doesn't bother me but those gales well if I'm going sailing I'd prefer a boat.

I set off Thinkin once I get inland and south a bit it would break up a bit!

I made it about 5 miles I stopped at a roundabout to let one pass and got hit by a feck off gust which knocked the bike over putting all the weight on my bad leg LUCKILY the car had passed and I was able to nail it and get moving or I was on my erse!

Common sense said don't be a twat Ye'll be well fecked by the time ya get to Dub and ya have to ride home again!

So I turned and came back home again like a sensible child !!!!!

So here's hoping the day was successful? In some shape or form for someone!

It was what you might call a 'mixed' day. Windy all day with a few big gusts but the carpark that T900 provided was behind a big showroom so it was a bit sheltered. The rain held off all day except for one shower but the wind was quite cold.

I was disappointed with the turn out, from both IBF & UKGSer, after all the work Marc & Linda put in. It was very well organised with a training area, two different slalom courses, numerous instructors & loan bikes. There was even music & a barbie laid on and then most of youse didn't bother to turn up
